About PhotoSignal

PhotoSignal is a planning app for landscape, seascape, and outdoor photographers who want to watch forecast windows that matter for photography, not just daily weather summaries.

A useful shoot often depends on several things lining up: cloud layers, fog possibility, wind, tide position, swell, storm activity, moon timing, or a brief clearing window. These signals are usually scattered across different forecasts and charts.

The app brings those signals into one workflow. You save locations, define the conditions you care about, and receive summaries or alerts when a forecast window looks interesting.

What it is

What it is not

Why forecasts are treated carefully

Weather models are useful, but imperfect. Cloud forecasts can miss real conditions, fog can be highly local, and coastal weather can change quickly.

PhotoSignal is designed around that reality. It should help you notice promising windows earlier, reduce repetitive checking, and make better-informed decisions. It should support your judgement, not replace it.

Alerts and analyses are based on forecast data from third-party weather providers. Forecasts, notifications, and timing estimates may occasionally be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable.

PhotoSignal is an independent service and is not affiliated with any weather provider whose data may be used within the application.
